I know Ive seen this answer before but I couldn't find the thread. How do I check my oil in an 06 LC which doesn't have a transmission dipstick. Reason I need to do this is wife was driving car and said transmission missed a gear.

All help appreciated
 
How many miles? I had my dealer change our fluid right after we bought ours at 107k. Cost was $85 and it seems to shift even smoother now.
 
Sounds like a drain/refill? $85 seems like a good deal for a complete exchange from a dealer. Which brings up another point: not crazy about external flushes. I use the return line method and let the trans pump do its normal circulation job. Search for A343F Flush.
 
06 would have the A750F 5 speed auto. It is a sealed unit with no dipstick and runs the WS ATF. Checking the fluid level is fairly involved and requires getting the trans up to temp and then pulling a overflow plug underneath. There are far more detailed and technical explanations here if you search for the correct terms.
 
$85 to drain and refill. Not crazy about any sort of flush at 107k without knowing if it's ever been done. I'll have it done again at 120-125k.
