I'm getting no power to my third brake light connection with my test light. I removed the third brake light and ran power to it from my trailer light connector and it lit right up. All other lights are functioning properly and from what I can tell, the third brake light should not be on its own fuse. I suppose I could tap into the brake lights with new wiring but I'd rather not tackle that project if I don't have to. I'm assuming it ties into the brake lights in the left pillar. Need to check my FSM.

Suggestions? :hhmm:

Thanks.

Check the wires that come out of the body and into the hatch (top ds corner).

Pulled the rubber boot off. Everything looks fine upon visual inspection. Now the fun begins.

My wife's 95 had a broken wire right where they come out of the body.

Keep me posted. ;)

Used an existing tap splice from the OEM trailer light module to run new wiring to the 3rd. Working well. Replaced the zener diode as well since it was dim before it completely stopped working.
