No Master Key ECU Swap for Virginized ECU with Keys (1 Viewer)

I bought my TLC with no Master Key and was fretting over losing the only key I had.

I took up Mauser's Virginized ECU with Programed Keys Service on this thread:

Mauser shipped the his Virginized ECU+ Programmed Blank Keys promptly since it was gonna be a swap for my old ECU.

I first had the Blank Keys cut to my Key by a locksmith. Local Toyota dealer refused to cut it since it wasn't OEM.

The ECU swap was a breeze, took me 10 minutes.

1) take off your Glove box (Retainers off and unscrew two brackets at the bottom)

2) Remove the Black Cover by unscrewing 3 screws that hold it down and unhook the things attached to it:

3) Take off the Top and Bottom Brackets holding the ECU:

4)Move said Brackets to the new ECU:

5) Move the Wires over to the new ECU:

6) Test the new keys by starting the Truck.

7) Remount new ECU back and reverse the process

8) Program Key Fobs.



Overall I am very very very happy to have 2 new master keys, fobs that work and all for muccccchhhh less than the stealership.
