I have no heat or AC. I can hear the fan running and I can control the speed, but there is nothing coming out of the vents. The vents feel warm, but no flow. The rear AC/heater will turn on and you can hear the blower motor running, but nothing comes out. This started last night. Thanks for the help.

Maybe check your heater tees are ok. Is your coolant level low?

Any recent work or maintenance?
An evidence of rodents in the fan housing?
Both front and rear HVAC affected?

The ductwork will not normally just come apart. If the fan is running, the air is going somewhere or is blocked.

The blower motor may be running, but is it actually spinning the air circulator or not?

Many years ago I had this condition on a Camry. Pulled the blower motor and found a mouse had built a nest inside the squirrel cage, which eventually jammed the motor and busted the center out. Motor was spinning, but fan impellor wasn't.

No photos of the baked mouse, sorry.

The coolant is low . I can’t get to the tees at the moment.

It appears to be blowing out now, but not full force

No recent work or maintenance done.

I don’t see any signs of rodents BUT

I live in the ghetto so it’s possible a crack head could have crawled into the engine bay.

The fan doesn’t seem to be blowing that hard even on high

Barely any air coming out in the second row

So, if it ambient cold, the blower motor shouldn't go full steam until things have warmed up a bit.

If you start the rig and let it idle 30 minutes to get warm, does all work properly?

I would try to figure out how the coolant got that low. Would have nothing tondo with fan speed though.

It was like 60 and raining last night. I got in to go pick up dinner and the windshield was fogged up. I hit the defrost and could hear the fan , but nothing was coming out of any of the vents.

This morning I drove it for about an hour and it finally began to heat up , but the fan still wouldn’t blow full force

I’ve had it for 8 years so I am familiar with how it runs in cold/hot weather and I know this isn’t normal.

What type of coolant do i need to get ? Any certain brands/types to stay away from ?

I’m still rocking the original radiator .... I’ve seen the thread.

Check the manual. In a pinch at a rest stop or whatever anything works. That low can get dangerous.

Open your glove box and check that the recirculate flap moves with the button on the controls. Don’t try to move it manually. Sometimes when this isn’t working right it prevents the other actuators from doing their thing.

I seem to remember mine acting like yours for a couple days last year.. the fan was running furiously but no air was coming out of any vents. Then magically it started working correctly.

If you have access to techstream you can attempt a servo motor initialization as well.

I’ll check it out
