We had a really strange issue yesterday where after a long drive we stoped in the middle of nowhere. Then after a short break we jumped back in the car but there was absolutely no electrical power to anything.
So after a bunch of digging around in the engine I found what look like two cut cables shown below. After bypassing the relay everything came back to life. But could for the life of me find the other end of the control line or the purpose of the relay or what the hell happened.
The relay seems similar to a glow plug relay but as this is a petrol (1FZ-F) I'm clueless..
Does anyone know what the purpose of this relay could be or potential issues of bypassing it?
