A happy ending. Got this note, which cheered me enormously up whilst in social isolation:

"Thanks for linking that 69. Picked it up yesterday. My 16 year old was beyond thrilled."

Apparently the had pooh poohed FJ40 foolishness, but recanted after prior projects. So take heart, there is always hope for those suffering MVS (multiple vehicle syndrome).
