Selling a 1HDT motor and A442F transmission, both with 150k miles, that were removed from a running vehicle for a rebuild. Vehicle was driven for a few thousand miles before the rebuild began. During those miles, no overheating, consumption of coolant, or any noises present.
The transmission valve body was recently (last 2k miles) rebuilt and new solenoids installed.
During the rebuild #2 cylinder had a score from a broken ring. Machine shop was unable to hone it out and recommended boring to the next available size - 0.5 o/s. At that time new OEM pistons for this motor were not available. However, they are today. Since this build is following an OEM theme, a new short block and head were purchased to save on time to finish.
What is for sale?
Motor:
- 1HDT block and rotating assembly. Cylinders should be machined to next size. No warpage per machine shop.
- 1HDT head. Cam, valves and springs. No buckets or shims.
