hoser - yes she would know the running boards are missing, she now uses them. pint - Spare fit with 2 minor modifications. (1) had to remove a small bar held down with 2 bolts towards the front of the spare. (2) had to lower air pressure to 35 psi to get it to snuggly fit. Spare fits nicely and doesn't hang down below the stock receiver.

Haven't used both but am going with Nitto's primarily on:
1. The strength of reviews here on mud (see the 80's FAQ section for reviews)
2. Consumer Reports put the Nitto's at the top of their list of AT tires, ahead of the Revo's, BFG's, and others.
3. Similar performance, but less expensive price? Sounds like good value to me....

Whoops. Didn't realize I was reviving something so old...ok ignore...:whoops:

Just to note, Consumer Reports never tested the BFG A/T.

I will be buying my 2nd set of Nitto's in a month or so. The original set gave me nearly 50K worth of trouble free on and offroad use.

Has anybody run the Goodyear Silent Armor Wranglers? I would be interested to know how they do in the snow and off road.
