Nitro Solid Pinion Spacers
Have you heard of a "Solid Spacer upgrade" for pinion bearing preload, but not really known why you should do this when replacing gears? We've made this short video to help explain why we always recommend a Nitro Gear & Axle solid spacer when available instead of a crush sleeve for setting pinion bearing preload.

Solid pinion preload spacers (Solid Spacers) replace the traditional crush sleeve in many applications allowing you to remove the pinion nut and replace a pinion seal without losing pinion preload.
The spacers are installed with shims to achieve the correct preload setting and preload cannot be compounded by over tightening the nut or over-crushing the crush sleeve. Solid spacers also prevent pinion preload loss over time, adding to the longevity of your differential parts.
