OK, So F**K My Life... I deciced to take on the heater core... And Its truly a B*&^#...Had to quit at about 430 to get the girls ready for softball practice... Cant get the fN center section out... Guess there is always 2mrow.... Oh and if any one looked at the link that jerod posted he mentioned if you have back problems the banana scale goes up..... VERY TRUE!!! I cant fold up in wierd positions anymore!!

Hey gnob, Jerod... What am I missing on the center section, Do I need to disconnect the tubes while in the truck? in jerods how to post it shows a white piece attached to the CS and says it needs to be removed in the truck and cant get that out... What you think fellas?

Off the subject, I hate powerblock reruns!!!!
 
No, the tubes can stay on to get the heater core housing out of the truck... In the write up I left the huge plastic dash piece in, but it makes it easier if you take it out.... and maybe the metal cross bar that's bolted in as well... Just keep taking stuff out till you get the core out! :cheers:

going to go gte th orings and re install everything! anyone have any sugestions of $#!T I should do before I put everything back together? besides run the truck and look for leaks....
 
OK, well going to reinstall and gnob is going to pressure ck it before i put it all back together! hey jerod, I have 3 or 4 O-rings for you and your install.. had to buy a 6 pack, only need 2
 
Think how much easier it will be now when you go and help Jerod replace his?? :D How's the back?

I honestly hope to never do that again!! However I will say just as I read, it wasnt that bad I just get pissed pretty quick and everything goes to hell from there.... but hey thats life right....

so far so good! I let it run for a bit and my floor board is DRY!
 
I'd clean out all the ducts while you have them out... Good deal on the O rings, did you go to Toyota, or somewhere else, and were they specifically for that job??? Just wondering... I have a misc. O ring selection, but none were the right one for this job, so we reused the ones in there (They were in good shape)

You guys just let me know when you want to change mine!!!!!

O rings I got at Shucks/Oriley I took one with me so I could get the same size.... as for helping you... i tottaly want to but I have plans on that day... Sorry bro!
