This rig came across my AutoTrader feed. Looks clean and the blue/tan combo is sharp with the silver pinstripe. The lift looks like it's OME, but it's a busy day and I haven't dug much into the posting or ran the VIN. The interior looks really good for a decade old truck.

Looks like it has been maintenanced at the same dealer most of it's life. I wonder what the story is for them to buy it back to list it.

Trade in, not sure. I've stopped in Amarillo a few times while traveling along I-40; the town is fairly isolated geographically (relatively speaking). It may be a local truck that simply stayed in the area. I can't see there being too many Toyota dealers in that part of the country.

I ran the VIN last night for the hell of it. The trans has been flushed, WP replaced, diffs/transfer case, and radiator replaced within its lifespan. If it's not rusted out, this is a good deal IMO.

Any idea of what lift is on it? Looks like a great starting point.

I ran VIN also, and it does look like it was cared for. I did notice they sprayed some shiney crap in the engine compartment. Would rust be a concern in Texas?

No idea. In one of the side view photos there is a bit of yellow around the top of the tire - OME shock, maybe?

I didn't see any rusted hardware or hose clamps in the engine bay. That seems to be a give away to further corrosion under the vehicle.

The dealership in Amarillo said this truck just sold. Nice truck, someone will be very happy with it I'm sure.

I had sent a message to the dealer in Texas asking a couple of questions. Got the usual canned response. Contacted them late in the day yesterday to be told that it "just sold". Oh well.
