Earthquake woke me up last night, thought it was THE BIG ONE coming! Got excited, the only one I’m missing after that is SNOW STORM for a 2021 Bingo!!

In an effort to make the best of this situation, I hope to do more snow wheeling sometime between Dec 26th and Jan 3rd. Will try for Cowichan area so it's a little more central in case anyone else is interested.

I actually thought my liver was starting to go about 5 years ago and went for a general ultrasound to have things checked out. Thank goodness the liver was fine still fine. Turned out to be h-pylori (infection) in my stomach.
On the bright side, I recently read a couple medical papers that found that people who regularly consume alcohol (moderate) are statistically less sick with colds etc. I applied some simple logic that with covid being a similar virus, alcohol will help prevent infection with covid too.

Yep treat your body like a temple and it will get all soft and weak. That’s why I abuse mine, It’s got to learn to fend for its self. Haven’t been sick in years, you should see my working conditions! It’s not all glory.

Speaking of my work we are hiring but I would have to vouch for a person and I don’t know if I trust you lot!

It’s too bad I’m not well enough yet. Your starting wage is higher than I make after a decade of making medical devices to help people walk and live. My wage likely tops out below where it starts… go figure.
Most of staff at my work were backstabbing A-holes… your shop can’t be worse…

Seems like all I've done at work for the past year or two is train new guys.
They get casual status, then don't get any hours so they go find an actual position somewhere else, rinse repeat.
Probably a dozen in the last year if not more. You would think management would notice a pattern, but then you'd be applying real world logic to Viha, and it doesn't really apply.
