I think I'm going to try something. Either a bastardized version, or if that's too much work just buy one. I think I'd use it enough.
Hell only did a compression test yesterday and my back is already unhappy.

I'm back to work for my 4days of bliss so I might have to do some browsing in the junk bin.

Showed the picture to swmbo and got a "order the ****ing thing" reply, so she's no help on the cheap ass front. :lol:

mine would say the same thing... only thing is that if I pulled a handful of bolts the fenders would disappear on the 40... leaving a 33” high seat. The Ambo is a bastard that that it wouldn’t help with (picture your only access to the engine compartment in you truck being through your grill or an access panel under the dash). And our Prius has only need a set of plugs, a water pump, and a thermostat... in 13 years.

edit. Also third set of tires, one set of front pads, and rear struts (although it still has Toyota rear squat).
 
A friend/coworker's dad went missing yesterday. Here is a text I received this morning:

"On your travels tomorrow can you please keep your eyes peeled for a silver Suzuki Aerio lic 100HBM. My dad went missing from Nanaimo this afternoon. We've put the word out and the police have been notified. An attendant at the gorge rd CO OP says they helped him at 7:30pm and he took off towards View Royal."

So last seen in Victoria Gorge/View Royal area. I'll let you guys know if I hear any updates, but please keep your eye out.

Sick of having to get towed off the Malahat every time it’s shutdown for a accident on your way home from work?

Tired of having your 400 kilometre range decreased by a third in winter, worse if you want to use the heater and headlights. Not even being able to drive to work in Nanaimo from Victoria for the day and back.

If I put my RTT on top of the "extended range trailer" will it keep my ass warm at night?
 
Landcruiser 300 was revealed today. Many of us won't want it or can't afford it. BUT, it does introduce a couple new engines to Toyota's lineup. One or both of which will no doubt make their way into the Tundra/Sequoia etc. I'm really happy they haven't killed the cruiser diesel option.

Maybe, just maybe, that new diesel will end up in a new 70 series also...probably detuned like the 1VD-FTV was.

Some fun with the kids, they have 37s and double locked and me with skinny 33s open diffs. What a fun day and the weather changed near the end which made it even more fun in the mud.

Right at 9:00 is where I can’t put my BJ74. It’s not a bush buggy, just don’t want to risk that.
Maybe it’s not as bad as it looks, maybe.

I had been just to the trail couple minutes from my house. But not anymore. It was the spare tire that was the problem, had to change it out on this past run and it got me home. Next morning went to see it flat. Coming off the rims today, going to donate the other 3 as they have no issues, be good spares for some poor kids.

Near the end I started taking all the easy routes, there is a go around. Guys are double locked and 37s had one of them had a hard time, would of swallowed my little cruiser. ;)
