But...but...climate change is a Chinese hoax? ??

Speaking of devolution...:bang:

I guess the next evolutionary step will be finding something else to breathe.

As a bit of a test run, we watered the garden with a fire hose today.

Also a good chance it'll be how we put out any cigarettes if we do a party this year.

There'll be no warnings. Just the hose..

Haha, that's hilarious. :hillbilly: I'll be sure to not bring any cigars if you have it and I'm actually able to make it for once. :smokin:

But yeah, if I had property I'd be putting some serious thought into fire prevention/response too.

Who needs to have a key when you can just smash your way around the gate. This is the *** you reason I built my cruiser.

Been a while since you wheeled down south I'm thinking.

Never have wheeled south of Nanaimo.

So how much is Ladysmith getting? I guess I better call home.
see, if you’d had some fancy-assed snorkel on your truck you could have just
drove right on through! 🤣

Holy cow! :princess: has been emptying the weather station gauge in the front yard.
Todays 24 hr accumulation is 4”!!

Yeah it was dampish.

I imagine the guy was exaggerating a bit but if it moved the medians, there must be a fair bit.

That guy with the house by the bridge on chemainus road must have water upstairs

Not sure a snorkel would help unless I was trolling for twinks at a truck stop. :flipoff2:

In related news, I almost ran over a beaver on River road when I went down into chemainus to see if the folks had their house float away.

Sucks for that farm market
“Highway 1 is closed for nine kilometres through Chemainus”

That's pretty nuts! It is crazy how much rain we've had the last couple months. Usually my house sits a couple hundred meters from the shore of Swan Lake in Victoria. But today Swan Lake is right across the street! I should sell it quick while I'm 'Lake Front'.

Good time to be a Beaver... or a duck.

The guy that has Welder-up from Vegas has claimed that his desmogged trucks
actually produce less pollution than factory trucks and the ‘rolling coal’ is actually
environmentally acceptable and burns less fuel!

Ouch, that's a bit of a fine...judge probably drives a tesla

I didn't even want to open anything called "news" . After this week, I've had enough news.

Fawk me.😷😷

I'd almost have to agree with him. Have you driven behind a Furd lately while its in regen? I see first hand what goes on in mining with equipment. I just built a machine with full DPF's, DEF inject. It has dual 400L DEF tanks that need to be filled in less than 24hrs--over 800L/day of urea. They can't idle more than 15 minutes without needed a full burn, which tanks about 40 minutes, than its ready to go. That's if it doesn't freeze up! Urea lines are heat traced from pump to injection nozzles. Let alone the fuel burned for that regen, increasing oil/filters changes etc...
****in rediculus!

“They can have my diesel filler nozzle, when they pry it out of my cold dead hands!!”

Sounds like selling urea could be a lucrative little side business for the pubs up there.
