Newly Acquired 1992 LJ71! Anyone in the Reading/Philly Area? (1 Viewer)

Hey,
I just picked up a freshly imported 1992 LJ71. It’s a sweet little rig and it’s been a ton of fun. I come from the 4Runner/200 series world and the 70 series (and diesel 2LTE engine) world is all new.

Anyone in the Reading PA (or Philly) area I could supply beer for in exchange for knowledge? I have no idea if everything on this is how it’s supposed to be or not.

Its an automatic. I debated manual vs auto for a bit but ultimately decided on the auto for my driving purposes (puttsing around town and occasionally a 10 mile commute).

I worked with a dealer in the King of Prussia area and they were pretty good to work with. It took about 2 months to find (and decide on this one) and then about another 6 weeks to get it here from Japan. I'm pretty excited about it.

Yeah, it seems like there's not much love for the 2L-TE engine.
