New owner of a 2000 LC 107K paid $16,600. 3rd Toyota to own and love this one the best so far!!!!!

Spent a lot of time here reading everyone's advice. So, Thank you to all that have put in your 2 cents! It was a lot of help!

So, here goes the first question:

The rear windsheild washer fluid either does not work or it just drizzles down the window barely.... Any ideas or suggestions? The fluid comes from the same resevoir as the front right (no poking fun..... Ill admit I have been too lazy to look at the owners manual but did look around under the hood)?

Second:

I have figured out what Mods I want to do (suspension, ARB Bumper & winch, etc.). I have been looking to do a roller drawer system first since there really isnt a whole lot of places to hide things in the truck (live in SF and people like to break in if things are in view). I have found 2 manf. that seem to look really nice and seem to fit into the rear without looking too obvious. I am leaning towards the African Outback system with the fridge slider. However, I have also found a similar system by TruckVault.com. Only downside to them is no slider for a fridge. Do any of you have any experience with them or recomend another system I may not have looked at yet (any photos of a system installed in your 100?). Here is the picture of the truckvault system installed. Oh, I was quoted 1,595.00 for the Truckvault system...

Thanks guys!

Everyone on the board who has gotten the African Outback drawers has been very positive. I assume you have been looking at the Slee OffRoad site.

African Outback Drawers for the 100 at Slee OffRoad

I have used TruckVault products at work and they are well built and hold up well. Some of their drawer options look nice. If you plan on adding a fridge then I would probably go with the fridge slider model from Slee.

If you prefer the TruckVault drawer options Slee sells the fridge slider by itself and I'm sure it could be attached to the truck vault.

Welcome to the site!

Welcome to 'MUD...great stuff here!

The AO drawers have been the bomb for me. They are 100% metal construction! I have used them hard over the past near 2-years without issue. My only small nits: It would be nice to be able to roll the fridge slider out without delatching the drawer (when your rig is nose high and you want something out of the fridge it is doubly tough to deal with a heavy drawer AND the fridge slide): Although this is just a simple mod away for me to do. And in a perfect world it would be nice to have 100% full extension drawer slides instead of 75% extension (probably not practical given their design and weight loading capability to cantilever the additional weigh/leverage outboard anymore).

Again...these two little things would NOT stop me from purchasing them again.

FYI, I recently obtained a truck with a truckvault in in. Not even in the same class as the AO drawers. When loaded up the drawers are not easy to open since there is no bearings, just slide strips.

I was always curious about them, but I have to say, after seeing them in person, there is no comparison.

Thanks for the input! It is looking more and more like the AO system is the way to go.

Does any one have any tips or help with the rear windsheild washer fluid?

I couldn`t have said it better myself Spress :grinpimp:

There are only a few minor things that I would change about my AO drawers (other than the price, that is !) , but I am 100% satisfied with my purchase EVERYTIME I take my rig out.... I tend to bring a lot of "xtras" on a trip, and let me tell ya` those drawers will swallow up a sh!t-load of gear !

Oh, and as mentioned its virtually impossible to overload them...They ALWAYS open, shut and latch easily and smoothly .... THAT is where the product really stands out !!

I have added a second set of locks/latches to mine for more security (and to act as a kinda "auto-stay-open" function) and I am gonna do a mod like Spress spoke of that would allow the sliding panel to work independently of the drawer...

Then... they will be PERFECT !!

ooops... I almost forgot :o

The reservoir is shared by both the front AND rear washers, but they (obviously) use separate pump motors.... I would check the intake for the rear pump at the jar for any obstructions. If none are present, then I would try to clean/unclog the washer nozzle by poking an ultra-fine wire into the tiny spray jets or soak it in vinegar for a day or two...

Those are the two most common causes of poor-performing nozzle spray..

Hope it helps ! ;p

Not so obvious... I thought there was one single pump and a T-valve
