Hey Guys,

Im new here in the Socal forums, and wanted to introduce myself. My name is Harry Tashdjian, 26, Burbank

I used to have a 94 80, and sold it a couple years bacK(i wish i didnt). It was my first car when i was 18. I couldnt live without one, so couple of months back I picked one up. Bought down in temecula. Heres the link:

Low mileage w/lockers. 8k. Love it.

I am done with most of the baselining, and now the fun begins. I installed a Safari snorkel this weekend, and ill be ordering Slees 4" kit this week. Im waiting to hear from my tire guy for the new BFG KM2s. As soon as there ready, ill be installing the lift.

There are too many upgrades i have planned to list.

Once i get my sliders, ill be joining in on some runs to get going.

I was reading the trail directory post. Is there a Socal book/map that anyone recommends. I ordered this book:

Funtreks Guidebooks Publisher of Quality Backroad Guidebooks for Adventurous SUV Owners and Serious 4 Wheelers

Has anyone used this ? Is there anything better ? I also have the Delorme book, but thats too detailed for off road trails.

Cant wait to meet everyone in person for a run.

Welcome back to the 80! :flipoff2:

Get those sliders on there so you can beat that thing up. It's way too clean.

 This is way too funny - another white 80 (JAFW80)!

Welcome! :flipoff2:

Welcome Harry! :flipoff2: Don't let the jealous ones get you down. White trucks rule! Looks like you found a good one!

Welcome! :flipoff2: to the White 80 brotherhood. Glad to have you.

I like your family's style, 100 series in the garage, white Tundra in the driveway... :grinpimp:

Welcome on from JAFW80 owner. (figured that one out yet?) :flipoff2:

They do seem to be prolific!

Post more pics when you get that lift on, anxious to see it.

Dan.

hmm, instead of spending all the money to build yours up, just buy Zacks. You can get his for much less than it would cost you to build yours.

Other than that, welcome!
Zacks CD Player is stuck, or else I would have given him an offer. j/k His rig looks awesome, but I love doing all the work myself, although it will end up costing more. I think I will learn a lot in the process, and if I ever experience issues on the trail then I can diagnose it better.

Thanks. It was a coincedence that all 3 of the Toyotas are white. I love white, so I preferred the 80 to be white, but the 100 and the tundra are white because we got good deals on them.

Harry I love your attitude!

Your rig, when finished will have its own unique characteristic.

That is a very good philosophy.
