Waiting on the showroom to bring in a 2024 LC 76 2.8ltr Auto and a 2024 LC 78 2.8ltr Auto. I know I know I’m going to get frowned at by the Hardcore and old school V8 lovers
But I’m already sorted within the V8 world (TRX) and (392). Opted for Auto because I’ve always been a defender person.
So I thought 76 with Auto 2.8ltr would be great for highway community and weekend trips to the mountains/desert.
And the 78 2.8ltr for long distance Overlanding.

Looking forward to start building them up.
1st on the list :

Very cool! Pls post pics when you can. The new 1GD 76 are on the road here in Japan but in very small quantities. My local dealer won't even take a deposit for an order.

Very similar to the scenario we have here in the UAE.
There loads available in the grey market, but those are only for Export.
It’s frustrating. LC76,78 and 79’s. Especially the V8’s and 2.8ltr.
Only few V6’s open to the public

Does the V6 (Petrol) have the same hood (bonnet) as the diesel versions?
