Well after many long hours of cleaning, some cleaning, and more cleaning. I finally finished my first birfield repack/steering knuckle rebuild. The job wasn't hard, just long and dirty.
Everything looked to be in good order. The jury is still out on whether it had been done before but was in pretty good condition if it hadn't. Im glad to finally be able to put a sizeable project under the belt.
If anybody needs the rebuild DVD for 80's and LX450's, they are more than welcome to it. I would be willing to lend a hand as well if anybody is tackling the job.
