New Years Trail Ride

I'm trying to put a trail ride together around new years. I will be returning back from Afghanistan around the first week of December, but I will not be able to go on leave until around Christmas time. I was thinking maybe the weekend of the 29th-30th or the 5th-6th. any ideas??

I like the idea. For what it's worth, 29-30 is no good for me, but might be able to make the 5-6 work. What do you have in mind? Ocala? Richloam? Something else?

I was thinking Ocala. Richloam has a little to much mud for me especially after that last incident we had lol

Ocala is my vote. We haven't been there in ages. Might be interesting for 4 groups to enter the forest from North (Palatka), South (Paisley), East (DeLeon Springs), and West (Ocala)...we could all meet at a somewhat central spot like Silver Glenn Springs on the west side of Lake George. The object would be to use as many forest roads as possible and limit paved roads inside the forest to "out of necessity" only. If you wanted to give it another twist each group would be required to cross a river or creek and provide a photograph of the group crossing. This can be done from all directions.

I will start working on the specifics when I get some time. So the plan is the 5th of January and the 6th if anyone wants to camp out, or we can move to Hard Rock on the 6th.
