Anyone interested in hitting the trails on New Years day? Seems like Thanksgiving was a whole lot of nothing with small groups and cancelled parties, so thought maybe we can socially distance in our own rigs, but be together on the trails!

We hit some trails in Mid Missouri years ago on New Years and it was a good time. KS rocks is fun until it gets a trace of water....

Anyone interested?

I'd be in too! KS Rocks if it is dry for sure, it's actually a lot of fun when dry. But any wet, hard pass.

I would say out and back in one day.

Potowatomi is always fun and close. Mark Twain forest is close and Rob still has several trails we did not do.

Is that the one with the fedex shack at the front?

If I recall pretty muddy first field to cross, then it is rocky and not as muddy throughout the area we played in.

Correct. 10 bucks. Fulton Mo

I have not been on the trails of either location so I don't yet know the difference but there is another park in central mo. Has anyone been to Vandyz Offroad Park? I think it is owned by the owners of Black Rifle LLC (Boonville) and Conquest Off-Road(Columbia). I went to an event (prior to ownership of my 80) a couple years ago. I did not go on trails or the piles of concrete but they had a few hundred acers.

I went to shoot. They had multiple gun ranges set up and full auto's of all types for all to try. Buy a clip and blow it quick. They had a 50 set up, $5 a round but it was crazy fun. That's not happening these days.

I'm not done yet with my refresh (Rabbit hole deep) or any armor yet (sliders on order) but I have a little recovery gear and tires so I'm ready enough to go learn something.

Pretty sure that @SammyT96LX450 did an event there several years ago. Is that open to public?

You are right, the VOP is next to the nuke plant. The place I went to before is in Howard County is more event only. Sorry for the confusion

Took the Tacobox for a shake-down run at KS Rocks today. It’s been a while! Great fun since it’s had time to dry out...the park that is. Looks like, or should I say sounds like I’ve got more trimming to do 😬

Even managed to snatch a heep out of a spot, and got another one to rollover and let me pet its belly. All occupants were unharmed thankfully.

If we don't get wet, I really do vote K-Rocks. It's a blast when its dry.

The Stocks would be in if we do Potawatomie though. I've been harassing Kim on FB...
