Happy New Year UC!

The last three months of work has finally paid off, and the all-new UC website has been launched for '08! With a new look and a new host server it should suit UC's needs for years to come. Check it out and please help by letting me know of any typos and errors you run into. I'd love to hear your feedback!

More on the New site...

hey everyone, there were a couple more things I wanted to mention about the new site that I have either forgotten, or haven't yet had the time to mention...

The "Links" page: I want to encourage all UC members to submit personal tech write-ups, build threads, or any informative links you have so that I can add them to this page. This is a great way to collect all UC tech in one place. I bet there is a lot of stuff we don't know about each others cruisers simply because we all can't browse every tech section of IH8MUD like Marshall.

RULES: No vendor links please. Only sponsoring vendors are allowed links on our official site. Limit submissions to tech write-ups, organizations, and general information. For tech articles, include a direct link the thread, your full name and screen name, and a brief description of the content.


Event Galleries: We now officially have our own server space dedicated to the new site, and therefor have a lot more room for club photos. Please feel free to submit any event or UC relevant photos and I can create some web galleries. This will be a good way to share event photos with the "public" i.e. potential members or sponsors.

RULES: Naturally, the standard rules regarding lewd content apply please use discretion. Also, please avoid just sending me all 300 photos straight off your memory stick. Select a handful of your favorites and send me just those. This will help save me a lot of time.

Didn't Mark say we had 50 available e-mail address we could use. If so I say all UC officers that want them should have access to them.

Wonder if we could have a passworded section for club related files?

yes there are emails available. I just haven't had a chance to figure them out...

Just a thought, you may want to have generic email addresses for the officers, such as Prez at upstatecruisers.net, VP at upstatecruisers.net, etc instead of name at upstatecruisers.net. This way the emails can stay static as the leadership committee changes... that's just my
