@ItsBavid I have not received it yet. I spoke to Patrick via DM this weekend and he said its being sent this week. Rest assured, I will have it installed within 6 hours of delivery and I will for sure be posting some pics.

Got mine in today everything packaged and labeled extremely well. Putting it together by myself took less than a hour, now to remove my headliner and factory bars.

Also for anyone curious about the light cutout opening for the 40" light bar you have a total of 42" to play with.

It's probably been mentioned here before, but I didn't see it and search came up with nothing.

What are the weight limits, both driving and static?

I've never seen posted limits, but I've had a CVT Denali tent on it on my 80 that weighs close to 200 pounds, and have slept 4 in it (myself, wife and 2 kids). That probably totaled 750-800 pounds static, although since the tent opens out, the ladders do support maybe 100-150 pounds of that weight. I've had no problems at all with it, and although I've built a trailer for the tent now, I was more concerned with what my rain gutters could handle than the rack. There are so many crossbars that it is really solid.

I'm interested in getting this rack with the light bar cut out but am concerned about hood glare. For those with this setup is the glare awful at night or does the wind screen minimize the hood glare?

I was concerned about this as well but it turned out to not be an issue for me at all.

Got mine last week and got it installed tonight. Looks great! I patiently watched the site and jumped on it when I saw them available one morning.

To those that mentioned installing the latches on the corresponding side; mine weren't marked either but didn't seem to make a difference that I could tell. Glad to support someone in the community making an awesome product..

Another extremely happy customer checking in. Excellent piece of gear!

I figured I would have 2 inches of clearance into the backyard shed she lives in. Turned out to be more like 1cm!
Close shave!

Anybody mount a 270 awning to their Bowfin rack?

Doesn‘t exactly answer your question, but mounted a Bundutec awning to my Bundutec tent, rather than the rack.

Looked at the option of mounting the awning to my Bowfin rack and it was definitely doable. Mounting to the tent got the awning up a little higher.

My bowfin rack made my cruiser too tall for the garage. 😥. But I knew it would and still went with it anyways! Beautiful product! I get a lot of compliments on it.

Nice setup! I’m a short Filipino so the height thing isn’t an issue, LOL.
