My truck is a 1991 80 series , The Landcrucher. It has a 2.5'' OME Suspension Lift, 33x12.5 Cooper STT Tires. I built the bumper, and Roof Rack Myself. Still Need To Get Around To Unbolting The Bumper, And Painting It.

Welcome :flipoff2:

Welcome:flipoff2: I gotta hear about that front bumper, is that chains or something hanging down in the middle of it?

Ah yes, My Bumper

Well, here in this particular aqrea of the midwest during the winter we get ALOT of drifting snow. Often times the drifts reach over five feet tall. so, if you wat to get somewhere and you dont want to wait for the snow plow... up to a week after the storm only to have the snow blow back in a week later, your only option is to go DRIFT BUSTIN :)

Which is alot of fun, but after compleatly DESTROYING the grill& radiator of my previous truck(1988 ford f250 Diesle) i decided to weld up a bumper just for drift busting. The front hangs down a little extr low to keep snow from being forced up into your engine compartment when you hit the drifts at 30+ MPH. I welded some expanded Metal over the grill to keep any large chunks of ice from doing any damage.

Didn't turn out too bad for building it all in one day. Stell haven't painted it though, but since it's a'' 1/4 and 3/8ths plate steel, i'm not too worried aboout it rusting away ;p

Unfortunatly, when i get up into the hills i tend to "plow" the front end into the dirt alow when climbing or decending steep hills.

Soon i will begin working on a new "high Clearince" bumper, and use this one spacifically as a winter bumper

Hey, you want to sell one of your 3rd row seats? I need the passenger side, live in Cedar Rapids.
