Hey, I’m another new guy from HTX. Never owned an LC or LX before but have always wanted one. Picked up a 2006 LX in pearl White just like I wanted. It’s in pretty decent condition, 240k miles.
Previous owner replaced timing belt/water pump within last 1k, and several other items. So far all I’ve been able to get to is refoam on speakers and some trim items. Need a new head unit, leaning toward Tesla style.
Other than fluid and grease, it needs new wheel speed sensors, bushings, and most likely a steering rack.
AHC is a pogo stick, just got 4 new globes and 5 liters of Toyota fluid in today to flush and replace. Unfortunately today it also decided to throw the dreaded C1762 code and dropped to low while at a stoplight.
I’m really hoping it’s related to the globes and old fluid, not the pump and pressure accumulator. Shocks aren’t leaking from what I can tell. Tomorrow was going to level pressures, but that will have to wait until after I get it back up and working. I’m a fairly capable wrench, Techstream up and running, as long as I can diagnose properly.
