Good morning everyone!
I was looking at 100 series Toyota's.
I finally found a nicely maintained 98 Lexus LX470. It is stock and decent mileage. It is currently at 205K. I am looking forward to reading and learning from this forum.
I will be building this rig into a fun family adventuring vehicle.

Welcome ! Nice truck !

I am going to look into upgrades.

Pardon my ignorance but this 98 LX470 is considered a 100 series, right?

I see that I have A LOT to learn.

Yes something like that and with AHC

I see you took it off road already

Luckily that is right down the street from my house.
We are in North Idaho.
Yes the AHC is fully functioning.
I need to get up to speed on lifting these. I'm guessing that you are deactivating the AHC and leaving it permanently lifted. I'm not going to lift it more than 3" I think.

beautiful rig! first thing i would look into is an Old man emu suspension lift. Around 2.5" of lift. Then some nice all terrain tires, and remove those running boards.

That's what I was thinking. I'd like to go bonkers and do 50 upgrades all at once but I'm gonna take my time.
