New to the forum with a 2014 GX 460 newly purchased

LHowdy folks, new here with a fairly new, used 2014 GX460 and hoping to modify into a decent overlanding vehicle. I have the Premium version without the adjustable suspension kit so it looks fairly open to some early steps to move into getting this ready for some off roading. I just sold a 2012 Rubicon JK and bought this as a replacement and hopefully for more long term reliability and comfort as neither my wife or I are spring chickens, but still like traveling around the US and like to get offroad after we get there. Hope to hear from you in the tech section as I am researching lift kits, front and rear bumpers, and rock sliders now. A lift kit is first and Icon seems to be a standard that Lexus uses in their new GOR series. Any experience with these from anyone?
