Hello everyone, I am excited to join this exciting community. I have spent a lot of time on here these past few weeks, leading up to my purchase of a 2005 GX470 two days ago. I bought a blue one with 137k miles on it. Timing belt was changed at 112k, and it has had the dash fixed. The lady I bought it from had really babied it. For the time being I just plan on taking out the third row seats and getting new tires, probably Firestone Destination A/T2s. I plan on mild exploring, towing a little trailer for construction work, and commuting. I am thrilled to have found a vehicle in this condition at such a good price.
I currently have a 2001 Sequoia 2wd, and was looking for a 2006 or 2007 4wd model, but really didn't see any, and all were much higher than comparable GXs. So about a month ago I shifted my search from Toyota to Lexus. I looked at about five, but couldn't spot a deal until I bought this one.
I need to come up with a clever name for her. Other than that she is ready to go! Sorry for the lame photo. Hope to get some in a better setting with my real camera this weekend.
