So I just moved to DC from NC on Sunday and on the way up had some interesting stuff. First had a bulge in my tire as soon as I started my trip so I stopped put on my spare not an issue then about 10 miles from DC tread flies off of my spare and rips off my rear passenger fender and knocks my bumper lose. So the part I need help on is does anybody know where I might find a rear passenger fender for a 91 FJ80? Also where is a good place to get parts and the service I can't do myself at around DC?

I don't know of any junk yards in the area the are known for LandCruiser parts but I see fenders in the Mud Classifieds all the time. CruiserParts.net might be a good source.

A lot of folks use Iron Pig Off Road for cruiser specific work. Convienence Car Care in Manassas supports the club and I have had good luck with them on work they have done for me.

Welcome to the area! :flipoff2:

jdayment,

There is a club meeting this Wednesday night (6 May/ 7PM) @ Jack Taylor Toyota in Alexandria: Jack Taylor's Alexandria Toyota| Directions. If you are available, this would be a great way to get "plugged-in" to the local scene. Also, you may want to try Brandywine for local parts, and the leads mentioned above, MUD classifieds, club forum, etc.... Welcome to DC.

Brother Burl (Va.cruiser) may have the part you need.

Thanks for all of the help

Thanks for all of the help guys I am going to do what I can to make it to the meeting on Wed.

Your tires must have been old? I had that happen on one of my tires (broke a belt). see you wed.

Yeah that is what I figured with the tires they were the original ones that were with the vehicle when I bought I had been planning on replacing them but I guess I waited to long but its cool got 5 brand new firestone destination a/t's and the wife gave the go ahead for a new bumper so I'm looking at IPOR.
