Well I just got a 2005 Lexus LX470. It needs a few small things but overall in great shape! Drives so nice and I feel I got a decent deal. 135k miles and paid 16500. Not sure if that's a deal but I'm happy and I guess at the end of the day that's all that matters. Been reading a lot and look forward to getting to know everyone.

I got my 1st LC 3 months ago. Same situation as you, lots to learn, things to do, money to spend :) I'm sure I paid full value but I think getting one of these at a steal is a pipe dream anyway.
Got my 2000 w/ 148K miles for $12G. Great condition though especially for something that old here in MN. Zero rust which was priority #1 for me since I'm hoping there is another 150k miles left in her.
There are few vehicles I've owned and loved as much as this and I'm happy for such a great community here at IH8MUD. Welcome.

Oh. I know. I have run through a bronco and a few Yukons. Then saw the light with my GX470 (pardon/120) and then had to go for the real deal.

First is just fixing all the little things, making sure all fluids are up to date and good. Then fix all the little things. (Made a post about the license plate holder) then I would like to level it and go a bit bigger on tires. It will be pretty mild. Just enough to make it mine

Nice. I made the transition from an 02 Tahoe Z71 to an 04 LC. Completely different creatures. Moving to the LC has made me not miss my old Tahoe too much. If only these 4.7 motors were as strong as the chevy vortecs.

Any chance you were ever on z71tahoe-suburban.com? I am still a moderator over there.
 
Man you got a great deal! When i went to look at LC's, i saw an LX at CarMax. 2005, they wanted $26K. Could not justify taking that much money off road. Nice ride!
