New to me BJ74 with some questions

Is it possible you've dislodged a vacuum line while fixing your charging issue, thereby causing your clutch and shut-off problems?

Good call. Any somewhat significant vacuum leak will manifest in this manner.

It is not unlikely. So this wil be all the vacuum pipes coming from the alternator?

I had a look. I cannot see any obvious loose connections.

It takes ten sconds after turning the ignition key to Off for mine to shut down. Experienced people on Mud tell me it is not the throttle actuator.
I have yet to fnd the leak. I feel sure I messed something up after replacing motor mounts, jacking engine up, etc.
