Hey Alberta Mac. Nice work - I missed the fact that you had a thread running. It does look like you have some serious work ahead, and looking your 42 tub, your 40 is in good hands. I will be following with interest - my 42 might be up next after wrapping up my 77.
Love the 42's but some great features with the earlier 40's like upper wipers and some signals.

Where are the #3 mounts located ?
There are 4 total - above the rear bump stop and right by the rear heat shield.

And nice mount @OlYellr.
I'm really hoping the price for cutting and bending will be affordable. The new revisions on a second gen stainless tub will be ideal for those who want to secure anything from moving in the back. I've tried to reach out to numerous companies to see if they can produce the ribs in the floor plate and inner fenders with no luck ! The panels will be flat like in the photo and like an Aqualuu tub. If all goes well the 1/4 tub will be up for sale or the truck or I can install it and remove the old cancerous metal on someones Cruiser. Still working on the drawings between work...

I see you had a 45 at one point and thinking of another ! Here is my 78-fj45 I built in 98, she has been sitting a bit but should be on the road this year.

Yep, many year ago - if memory serves, we sold it when my daughter was about 2, so roughly 26 year ago and have missed it badly since. Your 45 is looking good and I'll be following - I wish you the best in getting it back on the road this year. I have several weeks of leave that I need to take prior to April 1, and some of that time might go into progressing my 40, but we'll see.
