First time LX owner, just picked up this fully loaded 2015 LX 570 last night.
Previous owner removed roof rack and noticed the rubber lining/cover along the roof line grooves are missing. I notice on the freeway, because of the missing rubber inserts there is a slight bit of wind noise/whistle. Would you say that's the cause?

Where is the best/cheapest place to find replacements for the rubber inserts and OEM roof rack? Or should I go LC roof rack?

If you are wanting to go OEM, I find some of the dealers to have really good online pricing.

If you go to parts.lexus.com and navigate to the part you need, it will show a list of dealers that have that part available. Some much cheaper than others. Jim Hudson Lexus of Augusta tends to have very competitive prices.

I doubt the rubber strips are the cause of wind noise, more likely you have a replacement windshield that wasn’t done completely correctly.
For a rack, consider a prinsu in lieu of the missing OEM.

If you're planning to use it (especially for longer items - skiis etc)...then go LC as it is full length whereas the LX is 3/4 length.

As others have said, you can find the parts pretty easily online...however, if you're looking for the full replace I would check with some of the larger outfitters to see if they have any of the 'take offs' Eric Seargent has mentioned in the past helping others out.

Congratz, nice color choice :) Agree with others, I would get it online. Recommend also to check ebay for OEM parts.

buy a landcruiser. rip off the bling. up the suspension. tire it up. use it like your ex dude.

The rack Eric Sarjeant sent me (OEM LC rack) had every bolt and plastic trim piece that comes on the roof of a new Land Cruiser in the box. I'd check with him if you want OEM style rack. Definitely don't waste any money on a LX rack. I know a few here use the knock off LC OEM racks on eBay, if Eric doesn't have any take offs. I'd have no problem running that for the cost savings. But if you are spending money anyways and want the bro-verlanding look, I'd go with one of full length aftermarket racks (prinsu, dissent, gamiviti, rhino rack, etc...). Could also do a combo of the the OEM style rails plus 8020 cross bars, depending on how DIY you like to get.

Not sure if you found a solution, but I think I still have my OEM rack parts in the garage but no rubber strips. You are welcome to it if you really want to go stock, but I don't recommend it as it is too short to be of any really use.

I don't know the details of a LX570 but check to see if there are any open bolt holes on the top. In the LC they should be plugged if the RR was removed. All kinds of crap and water can get into your pillar columns thru those bolt holes.

I don't know the cost of an OEM replacement. If your going for the look of OEM poke your head into the market place here or try EBay. Don't try to save money it will cost you more down the road. Stick with genuine Toyota parts for this sort of thing and just bite the bullet. If you are planning to use the roof rack I would figure out your needs and look at aftermarket RR's. There are a ton of options from basic to extreme. Priced the same.

So I got the dealer to add the bolts back in (with silicon) and as a bonus they put new drop moldings on top. Appreciate all the help and advice. Will keep my eyes opens for an OEM LC200 rack.
I have a 2009 LC 200. I removed the original RR and I think it is in storage? I'm heading back down next weekend. It's the side rails and cross members and plugs. Not sure if I have the bolts? I will check. I'll send them to you at cost for shipping if they fit your truck. They are super clean. It was a DD for the old lady previous owner. PM me if your intrested
