I just had the best Christmas ever. I got my first 80 in pristine condition from the original owner.
I am so excited to start wheeling. Within the first week I already took her up to azusa cyn to see how it does totally stock, I was very impressed.
Their is lots of action on this board It looks like this is the area where all the local runs are too. I hope I can join you guys on the next one.

Nice looking Lexus. As you said....let the mods begin. Lots and lots of great info in the 80's section and the section moderator there, Ken Romer, has done a fantastic job on the FAQ section. Do yourself a huge favor and read, read, read before embarking on the mods. There's a wealth of info for your 80 series truck.

Our little band of SoCal 80's is very informal. No orgainzed meetings, etc. Someone usually throws something together fairly frequently. Boston Mangler is trying to get something going for late January, so check out his thread.

I'm in La Verne, its over near san dimas you know ragin waters. most people have never been, so I always mention ragin waters.

WOW , I checked out Romer's rig. I guess that pretty much sums up what I will be doing in stages to the LX (stages that I can afford that is).

The wife has already taken to the LX and is recommending I buy another with locking diffs and give her this one. she only has 95k, I dont think so.
