I've read a lot about the various "aggressive" tires you guys use but those would be overkill for my trucking needs. I currently have Michelin LTX's with about 10,000 miles left on them but I want to start looking for replacements now.

What would you guys recommend for stock Cruiser wheels? I'd like to get a little more agressive but the priorities are whats best for pavement driving and its various conditions (rain, snow, etc.)? Not to mention, I'd rather not pay and arm and a leg for them.

Thanks. :)

The "not pay an arm and a leg" part may be a challenge. I'd say Revo's or BFG A/T but they're both on the higher end of the price range. All depends on what you consider expensive.

acf,

I'm in the same boat, although I will probably be lifting my a bit.

The tires I am looking at are the Bridgestone Dueler AT Devo. I have had regular Duelers before and liked them, but the Devos are supposed to be better.

A lot of people here like the BFG MT/Rs, but they are too much for what I want.

Good luck!!

BFG AT/KO's and you'll be good for the street and ok for wheeling anything but mud or really nasty stuff.

I've had BFG AT/KO's for 43000 miles and still have at least 10K worth of tread. It's a daily driver in the big D. Louder and stiffer than the stock Michilins, but they wear great, excellent traction in ice or snow even in CO powder. My next tires will probably be something more aggressive, but I know I'll miss the long life, smooth ballance and fairly quiet running.

Those sound great. I'll check 'em out, thanks.

I bought the AT REVOs several months ago, and after 540 miles, sold them to a friend.

N O I S Y and R O U G H for a DD.

Revo's and AT/KO's are great. If cost is a concern, look into the Nitto Terra Grapplers or Toyo Open Country. I've heard good things about them.

I second the Nitto TerraGraplers if you're worried about cost - the price is right and they'll do what you're looking for.

Check out Christo's LX470 build up in the 100 series section - he's got a set on that rig.
