Had to post this as I'm excited and surprised at the results. I went with BFG K02's, 275/70/18. I FULLY EXPECTED to have to do some trimming, but alas, not needed. Lock to lock, up driveways, forwards and reverse. No rubbing. Completely stock 2007 with AHC. I couldn't even get it to rub in the low suspension setting. Ride is a little more firm, but wife is okay with it. Really happy.

Very nice, i have the same size tires, did you notice a decrease in performance? Mine feels a little slower over stock all season tires.

I imagine the effective gearing change from the increase in height going to a 33 will suck some acceleration out, but what ya gonna do? I got this thing in Aug and have been waiting for this ever since. I knew I wasn't sticking with 31" LTX's, so when it came time to replace them I decided to go with a tire that plenty of people liked. Yes, mpg is worse, acceleration also (barely perceptible), but it's worth it.

Now to try and decide which mod next. Sliders? I know I gotta get rid of those running boards, but maybe I should hold out for rear bumper? Opinions?

Looking good. Same size here. Did you get a 5th for the spare. I have a MY04 LX and it fits perfectly under the car. Don't want to have a different size spare.

Tip/trick for Sliders is to try and show your wife what a car looks like with damage because they didn't have Sliders. We saw one in person and the guy was like, had Sliders on their way, but took it off road and got damage. My sliders arrive Friday.

@Gandy ... Sliders were my first upgrade for my "new to me" 98 LX. Procured the MetalTech sliders from a fellow mud member recently and will be bolting them up this weekend. My next upgrade is the Gamiviti roof rack I ordered and will pick up later this month in Denver. In August, I'm doing the Dissent bumper.

My reasoning for this order is the way I'll use the vehicle. I figure sliders provide significant protection against damaging the rocker panels (which are very expensive to fix) while providing a stepping platform for my wife. The roof rack is 2nd because I carry more on the roof than the stock rack with Yakima Megawarrior can handle (intend to get a RTT next summer as well). Finally, the front bumper because, well, frankly, the Dissent is really killer looking. I will do a winch with it, have it painted to match my "Bronze Pearl" body color and will do the hoops over the top to give added protection against potential deer strikes (which, as you know here in Austin, those things are EVERYWHERE).

The rear bumper is not really an option for me. I carry bikes on the back and don't want to have to lower that rack, to then open the swingouts, to then be able to open the hatch and lower the tailgate. They look neat, but if I ever do one, it will be way, way down the line.

Nice looking LX BTW. I bought mine with Nitto TrailGrapplers in 285/65/18 that have a LOT of tread life left. The moment they waiver, I'm getting the KO2s.

Looks good man,

Yeah I'd remove the running boards and get sliders before bumpers.
You then may end up getting the Slee AHC mod next. :D

I wanna give you a hard time and say your tires are on backwards but then realized it's an LX, lol...
