Sold my 1983 FJ60 a few years ago, had this 555 brand steering linkage set still in my shop in original packaging.

Is this still available? looks like they will take grease fittings but they are currently just plugged with a small bolt? I'm interested in upgrading my current lower quality ends to this and using the take offs for the trail repair kit.

HI Yes they are still available. I sold my 60 3 years ago and so don't monitor this website much anymore and so I didn't catch your reply earlier. I will monitor it frequently for your replies now.

The parts are still new in their sealed plastic bags. Never got opened or installed.

As far as taking grease fittings, two of the fittings, which I believe are the "intermediate links" (my term) already have grease fittings on them .

The two outer links, basically the "tie rod ends" are as you describe, they have a little bolt seeming plugging them at the top. I don't want to open the sealed bags so I can't assure that the tie rod ends could simply have a grease fitting screwed into them where the small bolts are now, but it sure does look like you could.

In short, yes it appears that they are all grease-able or can be grease-able.

Here are pictures
1) The "bigger" intermediate link in a yellow bag where you can see the grease attachment
2) The "smaller" intermediate link in a clear bag where you can see the grease attachment.
3) The two tie rod ends that have the bolt seemingly plugging the grease attachment .

Let me know what you think.

You’re exactly right, I ended up looking up the parts. I had offered $100 w/ shipping included in the PM, does that sound reasonable?
