Hi everyone,

Here are the latest updates on my Hundy:

New shoes - Nitto Trail Grappler M/Ts (275/70/18). I replaced my Goodyear MT/R with Kevlars with the Nittos.

New Hat - Gobi Roof Rack. I've used it on several camping trips so far and I am very happy with it. It is stout and it easily handles my weight while loading it. That rear bumper ladder really helps out for getting up there!!!

Nose Job - Safari Snorkel. The :princess: still gives me grief about this one. It goes something like 'why do you need that in San Diego?'... My son understands :D.

I picked up the Slee skid plates when they were on sale and recently added JT's UCAs.

Nice rig! What do you think of the Nittos compared to the Goodyear MTRs?

So far I like the Nittos better. Time will tell, but they are quieter than the Goodyears.

How do you like the Slee jerry can rack?
I'm in need of one but don't like Slee's design - too big and clumsy. Unfortunately I can't find anything better for that bumper. How does it handle washboard when loaded with full jerry cans? Is there a way to lock the cans to the rack if you leave your truck parked somewhere?
Thx

The Slee jerry can rack is large but I like it, no issues with strength - it is very sturdy. I don't typically go far enough to load up with jerry cans. I usually put a water container and propane tank on it. I'm not sure how you would lock anything down unless you modify it with a metal strap and a padlock.

Looks fantastic!! Hope mine looks like this one day...

the LC looks amazing man! congrats!!

Great looking rig!

What was the motivation for the change? Do the Nitto's feel much heavier than the MT/R's?

I think the Nitto's are 3lbs heavier each in this size.

Hundy looks great! How many miles did you get out of the MTR-K's?

my 03 hopes to look like that one day, Snorkel and all (same question comes up in drought ridden Texas)

nice job!

Keep pushing Slee to produce the swingout Rotopax mount! I've been bothering him for a year on it. He was stuck on sourcing an acceptable latch. Still waiting......

Are you waiting for something that doesn't use the ladder?

I might go with this instead of the jerry can basket.

I thought you knew the release dates of all Slee products...you are slipping. Lol

Now if only Slee would make a mount for the tire swing out to attach the rotopax...

:whoops::doh: I rely on you guys to tell me these things! I made a pact with myself not to visit Slee's site too often. About freekin time. I figured Slee would let me know when it was up considering how much I've been pestering. I could have gotten one when I was in DEN last month :flipoff2: Besides, that's an 80 it's mounted on which I've seen plenty of pics of. Can two 4 gallon rotopax be mounted?

Looks great BTW, and that's the way to go if you have or are looking into getting the ladder.

I am looking for a well designed rack/basket that will carry my jerry and scepter cans. Rotopax are clever, but everyone in my area uses old school jerry cans. I have a ton, and they'll be less of a crime magnet for me than Rotopax.
