Hey guys

2003 LC 100 with 205k+ on the clock and looking for new suspension components. I am thinking about a shock and spring "collection" (lack of a better term). They are original from the factory, so i would imagine that there will be a world of difference once exchanged. The truck is used as a daily driver to work, pulling trailers on the highway and running to and from hunting properties. Needs to be good on and off road (obviously). The trails are never extreme, however it never hurts to have a little overkill. Wondering what you guys would have in mind for me? Thanks :grinpimp:

I say go with the OME Medium 1.5" lift. Assuming you don't care that you have a little bit of lift, and the medium springs will be (back me up here, guys) better for towing than what you currently have with stock springs. Also, you don't NEED to, but could get OME torsion bars while you're at it. I know next to nothing about shocks so ask some of the more knowledgable guys about those. And if you do serious towing you might look into getting air bags for the rear to counter the towing sag experienced.

Easy answer...

OME 865 with Fox Shox.

I progressed from OME 865 to 866 due to hauling about 700 lbs of gear, and a tent in the back. I still lose about 1" of lift even with the OME Heavies.

I also ran both springs with Bilsteins, until the defeat/victory when in Ouray last week when I broke a spring, yet swapped with a set that I won/traded in the Raffle.

The ride is incredible... eerily close to riding in a stock truck. The bulk of my driving is on road, so this is the best set-up for me, as well as likely yourself unless you hang out with Ted Nugent and slay deer 24/7.

Save your money, and just crank your stock T-Bars. Keep some rake in the truck or it kills the ride.

A good following (read: retailers) will recommend OME Shocks as well.

Everyone will have their own brand preference, but this is how I'm rolling.
