New seat cushions and leather

I'm not seeing it. Looks like it's been taken down. If anyone has a contact number awhile be willing to share, I would appreciate it. I'm at 5 weeks of no word after ordering a full leather and seat cushion setup for my 80. I can always just contest e charges on my credit card but I really want the new leather. I've use the "contact" link on the site to no avail. I knew it was a risk going into this but I've ordered small things in the past without any drama. It's just an bit of a pucker factor now that I have 2k sitting out there with no communication.
 
Keep us posted please. I need front leather seat covers for my 2000 LX470.

I just checked lseat.com. There is small tab at the bottom for contact- looks like for live chat or leave a message if not there.

I only have one bad panel so I'd like to find someone who could just replace that...
 
Has anyone tried leatherseats.com? They have 98-04 Land Cruiser listed. I emailed asking about color samples to match my blue-grey interior. I'll let you know what I find out on color.
 
Has anyone tried the coverking leather ?

Are these close to OEM color in case i am looking to do front seats only ?
 
While it stinks we cant' find a dedicated vendor here, I'd be interested if we can find one and do a group buy. Now that I'm tight with the auto upholstery community, I'll search around here.

I wouldn't bother trying to email anyone in the upholstery world, the shops I've visited were pure cut and sew places. If you can find the material, they can do just about anything..

i found a vendor near me that did excellent work. But I literally have to drive up and talk to the manager, phone calls and emails just don't do it.

I have now sent 3 emails and left 2 voicemails for Shane at metric without any luck. I may let it roll through the first part of the week and then will dispute the charges. Unacceptable

I don't want to trash someone that has served people well in the past, but that''s all the forewarning I'd need. Appreciate the heads up.
 
Guys, please do a quick search for Shane and metric. Lots of recent info all over the board. Here's the short summary:

HE IS A THIEF. STAY AWAY!!!!!!
 
Just an update, I escalated the claim and everything was shipped promptly. I'm excited to install the new leather and hopefully it's as great as all of the past reviews.

If people need to do that they get what they paid for, then that company should be boycotted. I guess really they already have been since they're no longer a vendor here.
 
I bought a leather drivers seat bottom cover in August 2014 for my LX from Shane. Good response, good product, fit well and still holding up well. No complaints (other than PITA job itself and finding my seat heater wire had nearly worn to a break with "overheating" signs at one place).

Its not as "buttery smooth" as the OE Lexus seat leather, but the dealer price is about double what MetricTLC price was for this cover.

Too bad if MetricTLC is not performing adequately these days, a number of MUD folks have had good results with their offerings (including myself) and we need more vendors like this as alternatives to the outrageous prices of dealer parts. I doubt Shane "is a thief", more likely he has other issues and not up to the 3x workload of trying to be a small business with online presence, operating out in the boonies.

I talked to my local dealer the other day and priced out a bottom seat cover. They wanted $750. I didn't know what my price limit would be, but it's definitely under that.
