I'll never be a true yooper :( but atleast I can still take advantage of one of the best parts of the country! Hey quick question for you guys, is it possible to do any wheeling in the winter up there? I know last winter snow was pretty slim, but has there been anything yet? I'm going to be up there for a week after x-mas and I'm trying to determine if it would be a good time for it. I dont know any where to go but I've got a little time to figgure it out. Any suggestions?

Not sure from the pic what that U-bolt is going through, I hope it's not just the mesh. If it was me I would get another U-bolt and put one on either side of the outter edge and attach it that way.

my 2 cents

Looks cool btw!

We don't have much snow yet, but we'll be wheeling all winter. Right now it's not much fun 'cause the mud is all frozen and there isn't any snow, but once in a while you'll break through into a deep hole, which is interesting. By January we should have some snow. Last year the club tried to run the Mulligan Trail in the winter and they only got as far as the first river crossing and had to turn back, after some major carnage to multiple rigs and about 6 hours of flailing. There are some less hard core trails that are fun in the winter. Let me know when you're coming and we'll go out.
