Hey Noah,

The stretch nets were so popular, we decided to continue including them for the time-being. We're glad you found yours useful!

***Update on Pricing***

I just called over to BR and tried to order a 64" rack for $415.00 and was turned down. I asked if he knew anything about the Mud pricing offer and he put me on hold to talk to the owner Sergio. The explanation given to me was that the above pricing was only good for 30 days and they will not honor these prices any further :ban:.

I did not get updated pricing on all three options, but the best price quoted to me was $450.00. I am in Ut and they quoted me $105.00 in shipping. I ended up not ordering because it doesn't seem like a great deal anymore.

Sargent,

Not trying to hijack, but have you heard of the MULE rack? Kaleb is local to you and he sells super stout products. I have a set of his gutter clamps and they are the strongest, most over built clamps I have seen, plus they have a security feature that makes them less prone to theft.

He has a great end of summer deal going on right now. Made in USA and under $500 for a 6 foot rack.

End of Summer Roof Rack Sale - Only 10 Available!

Nicholas-

Excellent suggestion on this, I called over there today and Kaleb is a great guy. How he builds these racks I think make them stand out from the rest, and this is what I am really looking for. He walked me though the process that he takes to build one of these and it is impressive. They are hand welded/sand blasted/custom powder coated etc. Not to mention the legs which are super stout.

Kaleb is running a special through the end of the summer, basically he is using up the material that he has. The price for these is incredible considering how they are built. He has sold 6 racks in the last week and is quickly running out. After he runs out of this stock he is going to make a different style of rack that will go for $1500.00 or so. He is also open to customizations--I am going to have a removable hoop incorporated on mine.

Thanks for the suggestion and the fact that he is local is sweet!

I just picked up the 64" BajaRack and it worked great for my trip over Labor day weekend. I'll be posting up some pics little later.

What do you mean by removable hoop? Did that cost extra?

Below is the concept pic of what I am doing. I am adding a hoop that will enclose the rack when I need sides around 360' of the load. When I want to run a roof top tent or carry a large flat load, then I can remove the hoop (and legs) and have a flat cargo surface....best of both worlds.

No additional cost but i am doing a little finish work to the new legs.
Rack idea.webp

No problem, I'm glad I could help you find Kaleb and his well built products. That's neat that you will be able to have a removable hoop. Be sure to post pics when you get it.

I don't have the Mule rack yet, but I do have his mule clamps for my ghetto-atv-wannabe-roof-rack so I can't say how loud it is. As far as height goes, the mule gutter clamps can be adjusted so that they are only about an inch or so above the center ribs of the factory rack (the rest of the rack removed). I'm not sure how high the rails are on the rack, but I'm sure Kaleb could give you the dimensions if they aren't listed on his site.

The Mule rack is the small general rack built by BajaRack. It mounts on crossbar systems and is 48" long x 39" wide and weighs 35 lbs. You can see this on our website, www.bajarack.com.

Also, our patented wind fairing design makes it very quiet. It is 6" tall and adds less than 7" to the crossbar height.

Thanks for your interest.

Has anyone mounted a RTT to a full size 80 Baja Rack (not the expo rack), or have thoughts on it? Seems doable but maybe I'm missing something...Check out this FJC with a Baja Rack modified with hinges and air struts, and room for gas and water underneath:
