thanks for sharing your photo's. How easy or how much was the work? what gauge of steel did you use and where did you get it?Was the new steel welded on or bolted? thanks
 
We used 2 x 6 x 1/4 rectangular tubing. Just cut out the sheet metal on the outside, then used a jack to force it up into the rocker. Then it was just welded to what was left of the rockerpanel. It's also welded on the inside. There are 2 body supports which are quite beefy, and you gotta make sure to weld it to those real good. It was a bit of work. It took 3 of use about 6 hours to get it done. I didn't do any of the welding, but if you got a good welder it really isn't that hard.
