Called EO today. February 25th estimated completion… so 18 weeks rather than the estimated 10-14. Which is fine, I’d prefer they update the website to get away from the whole 10 week low range as it’s evident it’s unrealistic.
I should call and see where mines at but i don’t want to be a bother as they seem to be earnestly working hard to get stuff out

Their lead fabricator had a baby in December, then everyone got covid in January… so it’s the season.
Did you ever get in contact with Red Dog? I ordered my bumper in December and when I asked he said “9 weeks should be accurate.” I’m not sure if I believe that entirely but it’s a good sign he responded quickly.
Following this. I've been looking at this bumper for a while. I hope they get the communication and lead times tightened up.
Maybe it's the beers, but I think it's the best looking bumper available for the GX. I'm also a recovering Jeep driver, so maybe I dig the minimalist look.

Very much the case. It's just a political power play from our extreme right wing (we have 5 and sometimes 6 parties to choose from Federally) political party after a poor showing in the last election.... and of course every news outlet has a spin on it.

So in america right wing stands for “conservative” and left wing stands for “liberal” not to over generalize or offend anyone. And I’m not talking about morality I’m referring to amount of government control exerted on the people… is it backwards terminology in Canada?
The political spectrum is the same here in Canada. The major difference is that in general our parties trend slightly more left wing than America based on my overall feeling. So as an example our Progressive Conservatives are slightly less conservative (right) than the Republicans. We have more parties here though, with something like 22 registered in the last election. Our two largest parties are centre left and centre right if I were to peg them on the political spectrum.

Just confusing…..ha! Politics, religion, money… don’t talk about that stuff…problem is politics have infiltrated everything so it’s hard to leave it alone. Kids don’t just learn writing, math, science, now they are being exposed to the opinions of the school system and stating it as fact. So in turn people get dragged into it since we’ve dragged the kids into things that shouldn’t be in school.

Here we are at the 25th 18 weeks out. No email, sorry but I expect better communication. What is more frustrating is on the website they still advertise 10-16 week lead time. Bs, everyone knows it’s better to under promise and under deliver.
Talking about EO? I talked to them this week, sounds like mine is scheduled for may production, so they’re about 2 weeks behind what i had expected. Sounds like they need welders!

It just goes back to customer service. I would say the overland community is in general respectful and understanding. If there are setbacks just communicate them. I don’t think I’m off base assuming that we aren’t talking hundreds of orders to track. Explore overland has a background in e commerce, so tracking orders and communicating with customers shouldn’t be an issue. Maybe Im Crazy, who knows.
When i emailed they promptly responded back, same when i called.
Sounds like their Black Friday and Christmas sales went way better than expected. I think they actually do have hundreds of orders.
Try giving them a call again!
