Well crap! Sorry to throw that door open again. I Guess I just miss seeing all the cruisers and likeminded addicts. Will try to make it to a meeting soon.
 
i think we should keep one meeting place. i think our C&C meeting thing that Tucker started is a really good thing. it's more of a hang out thing. sure it's not a LSLC thing. but it brings every one out. you will get the Billy guys, the LSLC guys and guys that just want to hang with other cruisers. i know some of ya'll are part of both clubs & thats cool. i welcome any one to our meetings. i don't care if you drive a yugo and are part of the mustang club. as long as you like toyota's. so i think if we do a off beat meeting with other car clubs just to meet other folks. i'n down with that. maybe what we can do is talk about us going to one of the sunday meets as a group.
but as far as changing the meeting location to every other month. i think that would be more of a pain. i say keep it at the same place each month. as far as moving it. i am open to the idea. we as LSLC members need to vote on where to move it to or leave it at rudys. i for one would like to move it a little closer into Austin (staying some were north of UT). i know some of ya'll are WAY south so this would help ya'll a bit.
i will try and bring all of these things up at the next next meeting (god help me). if ya'll can write some of these things down so we can talk it over as a club.

are you a Austin LSLC member? in my book. all you need is to support our club & show up to our meeting at least 6 times a years. if you can do that your a member. i know at one time there were dues to be payed but that ran folks off (it might work for other city's but not here). i want more folks to show up and be parts of the club. in return offer fun thing to do as a group at least once a month out side of the meeting time
 
The idea of having an annual sponsored bbq/camping/trip event is excellent.

I am the manager of all things tech at buildasign.com - so I can get really stellar deals on signage for the group (from window/bumper stickers to flyers to 4'x8' sheets of sanded/printed plywood to giant vinyl banners, etc).
 
In the Statesman today, the new Marketplace section, they stated they will run articles on car clubs. We'd just need to submit some pics, minimum of 5, along with some verbiage on members.

Just throwing it out there as an idea...
 
Hey congratulations Edwin and Jason!! That's awesome. Jeff and Mark, thank you for your years in service. It's been appreciated. Edwin, I'll do anything I can to help get an annual club sponsored event going. Let's make sure we don't let that discussion slip away. I know we've been good at letting that happen a few times in the past.:doh:

Bobby are you going to make the next meeting (2/26/13). it's been almost a year since i seen you last. we need to catch up. round -up coming very soon also. make it to the next meeting. should have alot to talk about.
 
I have every intention on earth to be at that meeting. Seems like we keep missing each other. I've only been to about 3 meetings since the beginning of summer due to work. Oh, and well, wakeboarding... I was in S. Carolina during the last two meetings. Call me if you want to start working on stuff ahead of time..
