Crawl space, home office is on second story, could be exterior or interior wall. I'll give you a hollar. I don't have traditional home phone service but I do have AT&T DSL which is why I need the additional line.

Thanks!

Cannot just split the line?

Also if you have a jack in the room already most likely the line going into it has a few pairs to spare. Could just use those and then add a double jack.

Phone jacks? What are those? I haven't even looked for a phone jack in a house in over 10 years. Use cell phones and cable/internet.

I use my cell phone for my home and work and cell phone but my local cable internet sucks big balls so I have to use DSL. I gave the local cable company the benefit of the doubt and tried to order service through them and received 4 different quotes within an hour's time. That did not instill any confidence.

Have you looked into VoIP? I use 8X8.com. Two business lines = $44 a month.
