New owner!

Hello Forum,

After months of looking, I signed the paperwork for my 200 series Land Cruiser this evening!

The truck is a 2009 super white, one owner, purchased and loved it's entire life in Tucson, Arizona.

It appears to have never been off road and has the most meticulous records I've ever seen on a vehicle. It's almost like the original owner set a timer to get to the dealer at exact 5000 mile intervals.

Anyway, glad to be here, I'm super stoked to own one of these beasts. I haven't taken it home yet since I convinced the dealer to swap out the factory tires for KO2s before I take delivery They actually asked why I wanted to put "mud tires" on a luxury SUV like this... doh. Oh well I hope I'm in good company here. She won't stay clean for much longer...

Toyota 202 white is a single stage paint, which I prefer, because when it starts to oxidize in a few years, a simple clay bar will shine it up again.

I bought a 1999 100 series with only 60k miles on it that at the time was 7 years old bottom looked brand new like it just came from the factory absolutely no rust on the vehicle only thing I had was some fading in the paint congratulations

Heh. We're almost twins. My first Land Cruiser purchase was also a 1999 with 60K miles on it! Bought it when it was 3 years old.

Loved that thing, and the silver paint was literally flawless--even without ever being garaged--when I sold it as a 16 year old truck.

Correction, 200 series Super White II is 040, Black is 202. 202 Black is also a single stage paint with no clear coat.

With new dealer installed tires let me suggest investing $100 or so at Discount Tire for a road hazard warranty on those KO2's. The first puncture will pay for itself, and then some.
