Hey everyone! I’m new to the community been lurking for a few months as I researched 100s. Y’all have already been a huge help to me! A few days ago, I pulled the trigger and I’m a proud owner of a 2000 Toyota Land Cruiser! Bought it with 156,000 miles.

Found it on FB in Boise, ID. I bought a plane ticket and drove it back to North Alabama. 2000 miles, 31 hours of driving. After the long trip, I’m 1000% in awe of the comfort and build quality of a nearly 20 yr old vehicle.

My plans are to mostly enjoy it as a family vehicle. I’m moving on from my 98’ Jeep TJ. Maybe a few light overlanding trips with the guys. First course of action is new tires

I’m excited to be a part of this community!

Welcome to the 100 series community! Don't be afraid to ask questions. You will learn lots of info regarding these awesome vehicles here. I also see you are in Huntsville. I am from Birmingham. There is a big LC following in Birmingham. Check out Dixieland Cruisers in the Clubhouse area. They go on trail rides and have meets quite often. Can't wait to see the progress and updates on your build.

Welcome! That's a clean rig. I did a one way plane ride and roadtrip home for my 99 as well. It's always good to start ownership with an adventure.
