This is correct. In sand, wheel speed is your friend. Much easier to do in four high.
The 2nd Gear start button is great for soft sand too!

I just listed my lx on ebay. I can't justify the extra insurance costs and just having it sit in my driveway being mostly unused. Search ebay for item 261088158686. (Can't post link here for some reason).
I will be somewhat flexible on price to mud members. I realize I paid only $6500 for it but I believe it is worth more.

I sold the LX this morning, less than 24 hours after posting an ad on ebay and craigslist. Went to someone who already owned an LX450 who was buying for his son.
Thanks to all for the helpful comments in this thread. I will be back eventually, maybe with a 100 series in the future... the timing was just not right on this one.

LX450, any color, under 150k miles, under $7000. Stock preferably. Diff lock not important.
Be patient, because that's going to be tough to find. Your first find is one of the better deals I've seen on one of these.
