I bought a 02 LX470 with about 150k miles on it back in November (I've always wanted one)--I have a 02 Tundra with about 215k on it and the 2UZ-FE engine has treated me really well so I hope this one does too.
I used this forum to do quite a bit of research before I bought the LX and it really helped me out. After driving it around for a bit I decided I wasn't really into the AHC. I looked thru the forums again and seeing what some others did I decided on having a shop tear out the AHC and put in a 2.5 inch Slee lift with 33" BFG all terrains on it. I had them replace the UCAs so hopefully the CV boots don't end up getting torn apart.
It's awesome.
